A whole wagon of pumpkins to choose from.

They were making homemade Apple Butter. I had been online earlier looking for a good recipe to make some.
Tom is standing on the side talking to the gentleman and getting the directions to make it. Problem is, I don't have a big copper kettle.

These mums were absolutely beautiful. The perfect fall colors.

This is my attempt at decorating my porch for fall....I know, I need some more pratice.

Your porch looks great with the pumpkins! It sure has the Autumn feel to it.
When is your birthday?
My planter box is too over grown, but thanks for the sweet words.
No, you need more money! lol I know your porch would be absolutely gorgeous if you had the money to buy all the beautiful fall flowers you'd like. Love the pumpkins though.
Is that the nursery in Ripon? If so.. I had no idea that they made apple butter there. I bought some pumpkin butter at Trader Joe's. They were giving out samples and I bought a jar because it was so yummy.
oh yum! Pumpkin seeds! I'm going to guess your lunch break is longer than a half hour!
I think you and Jessie should come up here and help me with decorating and sprucing my place up! I don't have the motivation. Send some my way.
But,Cathy, you have always had a flare for doing cool things. Remember your tole painting? Is that how you spell that? I think you should get into that again, too. Hey, are you going to make a pumpking pie fromm scratch? I've only done that once. You know the domesticate I am. H
Helen Ida,
Thank you for the uplifting comments.
Yes, I plan to cook the pumpkin and can it. Later I can make fresh pumpkin pies. I did that years ago when I was just a domestic housewife.
It looks great!!! Come out to New York and help me make apple butter. A friend just brought over three bushels of apples and I'm going to try and make apple sauce and apple butter for the first time!
