Priceless Pictures.

Did you ever give it much thought about how or when the camera was invented? FYI, sometime around 1826, the first pinhole camera was invented.
Wonder why...maybe because some people love their picture taken. I am not one of them. Maybe so we can hold on to precious memories or history to learn from. Regardless, I am very thankful it was invented. Anyone remember the Brownie Camera?
For whatever reason the camera was made, all I can say is thank goodness or we wouldn't be able to blog, and what we would we do without blogging?

I like to visit TJ Max whenever I have some extra time. I found this dress on sale and it had a matching dress for a doll. It was the perfect size too. I snatched it up.

This pic is with my camera. I thought I was using my camera while we were there. Kathleen and I have the same camera, I was using hers.

We took a trip up to Lawren's house this weekend. Kathleen wanted to take her husband out on a date. So, Pa Pa and I drove over there. We had a lot of fun with her.
Lawren loves to swing. We spent a lot of time outside playing on her swing. Well, as much time as Grandma could take. It got a little warm for me. I am so looking forward to the Fall.

Lawren loves to be read too. Kathleen and Jeff have done a great job getting her interested in books. From day one, they read to her. When she was a around 5-6 mo. old, you could tell her to turn the page and she would do it immediately.

I was taking a nap with her. As soon as she woke up, she looked at me with her innocent brown eyes and said "Grandma", I answered "Yes", she followed with "n PaPa".
Funny how some children will bond with a family member and be fearful of another.
She is crazy about her PaPa. She never excludes him.

That little dress with the matching doll dress is adorable. I've never seen anything like that in the stores around here. Lauren is sure growing up fast. They sure don't stay little long, do they?

Happy 35th wedding anniversary mom and dad. I can't believe I forgot!!!
I love you both and I can't believe how lucky I am to have such a wonderful example. Not many people these days stay married for 5 years let alone 35.

Love you,

Kathleen

Happy Anniversary Cathy & Tom.

Both dresses fit perfectly. How cute is that!

Fall will come early I'm sure.. since we're not in our house yet. By the time we do it will probably be too cold to swim in the pool.

Hey, I really enjoyed the pics of Lawren. She's so cute. That's not a prejudice statement. That's just how it is!
Oh, I remember that wedding 35 yrs ago. Man, you two are old!!! :-)
I was just a whipper snapper then. Not!
Leave for Redwoods CM. I can't wait!!!
Hope to see Cecilia and Bob there. Just kidding. I know that's a "fur" piece to drive for such things.
Oh, yeah, happy anniversary. Your kids really owe you for next year! I think Hawaii sounds good. Don't you? :-) Love, H
